elf on a shelf January 8, 2009 M. Hamilton (saint louis, MO) My granddaughter who turned four in december loved looking for the elf everyday. When I would go to her house she would tell me all the different spots the elf had been. I think next year she will like it even more.
Wonderful Toy! January 6, 2009 Courtnie Cederholm (Salt Lake City, UT) I heard about this toy from a friend and am so glad I purchased it! What a fun and new holiday tradition! My kids enjoyed waking up each morning and racing downstairs to find our elf. The only con to this toy is it's cheaply sewn together. The elf's hands were sewn together and came apart on the third day we had him. It was totally mendable, but just annoying, however, I would definately recommend this toy to everyone!
this is a fun thing to do with kids January 6, 2009 Rhonda Kruchten (Royalton, MN) This is a great product for trying to get your kids to be good around Christmas! It's also a fun product for getting your kids involved! AWESOME fun item!!!!!
Add a little magic to your christmas January 6, 2009 Armagh13 Had several friends tell my wife and I we had to get this and how greeat it was, so we ordered it. When we first got it, we thought our 5 year old would be too old for the whole concept, but we decided we could sell the idea well enough. First morning we put "Ned", as he would later be named, on top of a curtain rod, and we laid the book on the kitchen floor. When my daughter saw the book she was super excited, and as we read it, she jumped up and ran around the house looking for the elf. The first thing she did every morning was find "Ned". She would talk to Ned and was fascinated that he moved all over the house. Christmas morning game and Ned was gone, she was very sad, but is already talking about seeing Ned next year. My wife and I are glad we did this and would recommend to anyone with small children. Ned is a Toy and looks like a Toy, so too much older than 5 and it may begin to lose its luster.
Elf January 6, 2009 Jen. B. Fox We really enjoyed having the elf in our home before Christmas. The outside box looks as if it was delivered from the North Pole, which was neat and I had it delivered to my kids (addressed to them). The inside box and the book were beatiful; my only complaint is that the elf himself looks fairly cheap (doesn't even have any feet). Nonetheless, my kids really enjoyed it and even my 9 year old had a great time trying to find him in the mornings.
